To ask the Minister for National Development as of January 2025, whether the average waiting time to complete Goodwill Repair Assistance cases of HDB flats has improved since the previous time frame of four to six months during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Answer:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an industry-wide shortage of workers, and the average waiting time to complete each case under the Goodwill Repair Assistance (GRA) scheme was between four to six months. While the number of GRA requests remains high, the average waiting time has improved, with about 80% of the cases completed within four months. HDB will prioritise cases where the extent of spalling concrete or ceiling leaks is more severe.
