Sun Xueling leads Delegation to Vietnam for 40th AMAF and Related Meetings

Ms Sun Xueling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Home Affairs and National Development, is leading a delegation to the 40th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF), 18th Meeting of the AMAF Plus Three and the 6th ASEAN-China Ministerial Meeting on Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (SPS Cooperation). The meetings will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 11 to 12 October 2018.

The AMAF and AMAF Plus Three will discuss the progress of cooperation in food, agriculture, and forestry among ASEAN Member States as well as strengthen collaboration in these areas with the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and Republic of Korea. The ASEAN-China Ministerial Meeting on SPS Cooperation will focus on deepening cooperation between member countries in the areas of food safety as well as animal and plant inspection and quarantine. 

Ms Sun is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development and the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority.
