New Appointments to the Council for Estate Agencies

Three new Council members will be appointed to the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) with effect from 22 October 2020. Mr Quek See Tiat (郭书实), President of the Council, will be re-appointed, along with nine other members. 

New Council members

The three new members are:

i) Mr Lok Vi Ming (骆维明), Senior Counsel and Managing Director, LVM Law Chambers LLC;

ii) Ms Ong Choon Fah (高春华), Chief Executive Officer and Key Executive Officer, Edmund Tie & Company (SEA) Pte Ltd; and

iii) Mr Thomas Tan (陈添喜), President, Singapore Estate Agents Association and Chief Learning Officer, Life Mastery Academy Pte Ltd.

Re-appointed Council members

In addition to Mr Quek, the nine re-appointed members are:

i) Mr Lim Chee Hwee (林志辉), Executive Director, Council for Estate Agencies;

ii) Mr Mike Chan Hein Wah (陈显华), Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Estate), Housing and Development Board; 

iii) Mr Loy York Jiun (黎学俊), Executive Director, Consumers Association of Singapore; 

iv) Mr Mohamed Abdul Akbar Bin Mohamed Abdul Kader, Managing Director, Nan Guan Construction Pte Ltd;

v) Mr Ng Boon Yew (吴文友), Executive Chairman, Raffles Campus Group;

vi) Mrs Deborah Ong (陈映雪), Partner (Singapore) and International Team Leader (Global Assurance Quality – Inspections Group), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP;

vii) Mr Sin Lye Chong (冼礼聪), 1 Group Director (Land Sales & Administration) and 2 Group Director (Corporate Resources), Urban Redevelopment Authority;

viii) Ms Tan Pei Shan (陈珮珊), Executive Director, Policy & Planning, National Research Foundation; and

ix) Dr Tan Tee Khoon (陈智群), Country Manager - Singapore, PropertyGuru Group. 

Council member who is stepping down

Mr Michael Tan (陈维新), Executive Director and Key Executive Officer, OrangeTee & Tie Pte Ltd, will be stepping down at the end of his term on 21 October 2020.

With these appointment changes, the CEA Council will have 13 members, including Mr Quek See Tiat. All appointments are for a two-year term until 21 October 2022. The full list of the CEA Council members is in the Annex
