To ask the Minister for National Development for each HDB flat sales exercise since August 2023, what is the percentage of first-timer applicants who do not select a BTO flat among (i) applicants with a queue number larger than the available flat supply and (ii) applicants with a queue number smaller than the available flat supply, respectively.
Answer:
Since August 2023, HDB has completed flat bookings for four Build-To-Order (BTO) exercises. The respective proportion of first-timer (FT) applicants with queue numbers (i) larger than and (ii) smaller than the available flat supply, who did not select a flat when invited, are tabulated in Table 1.
