One that gives you career opportunities spanning the Ministry of National Development's five Statutory Boards - Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Housing and Development Board (HDB), National Parks Board (NParks) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). Terms of Scholarship Award
When you apply for the GeM scholarship, you will need to indicate the MND Statutory Board whose terms of award you would like to follow. This will determine the value, tenure and bond period of your scholarship. You will also be appointed as an officer with the same Statutory Board upon completion of your studies.

(For instance, if you select AVA as the Statutory Board of your choice, your scholarship will be according to the terms of award of an AVA scholarship, and you will be appointed as an AVA officer upon return from your studies. However, as a GeM scholar, you will have the opportunity for postings to the various MND Statutory Boards.)
