RADM Lui Tuck Yew resigned as HDB's Chief Executive Officer with effect from 11 Apr 06.

2 He joined the Housing and Development Board (HDB) as Chief Executive Officer in June 2005. He steered HDB through significant changes that consolidated its housing authority role and key mission to provide quality and affordable public housing to Singaporeans.

On behalf of all staff of MND and HDB, I would like to express my appreciation to Tuck Yew for his inspiring leadership that has put HDB on course to meet the challenges ahead. I wish him all the best in his future career."
