MR MAH BOW TAN, MINISTER FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, TO VISIT KUALA LUMPUR AND PUTRA JAYA, MALAYSIA, 10 MAY TO 12 MAY 2005

Mr Mah Bow Tan, Minister for National Development, will visit Kuala Lumpur and PutraJaya, Malaysia from 10 to 12 May 2005. This is part of the ongoing exchange of visits by ministers of Singapore and Malaysia.

2 During the trip, Minister Mah will visit new developments in PutraJaya and CyberJaya to gain an insight into the development and management of these 2 new areas. In Kuala Lumpur, Minister Mah will be briefed on its large integrated projects such as KLCC/Petronas Towers, Times Square and Sentral.

3 While in Malaysia, Minister Mah will also be calling on Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yasin (Minister for Agriculture & Agro-based industry), Dato Seri Ong Ka Ting (Minister for Housing & Local Government) and Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad (Federal Territory Minister).

4 Mr Mah will be accompanied by members of MND GPC, and officials from MND, URA and HDB.
