Sungei Buloh Master Plan Public Exhibition

The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Master Plan was first unveiled during its 15th anniversary in December 2008. The Master Plan outlined the main strategies in transforming the wetland reserve into a distinctive centre for education and recreation, while strengthening the conservation of its biodiversity. This public exhibition, launched by SMS Grace Fu on Sat, 19 Jun 2010, shows the detailed concept plans for Sungei Buloh in the years ahead.

11 Jul 2010 Completion Ceremony for Golden Jasmine

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has been launching many Build-To-Order (BTO) projects in the past year, as a move to ramp up the supply of HDB flats to meet increasing demand. Check out its first finished standalone studio apartment in Bishan – Golden Jasmine – at the completion ceremony.

15 - 22 Jul 2010 Singapore Garden Festival

The Singapore Garden Festival (SGF), the only show in the world to gather the world’s top award-winning garden and floral designers under one roof, returns from 15 to 22 July 2010 at the Suntec Convention Centre.

After successful runs in 2006 and 2008, SGF 2010 is set to be even more spectacular with garden and floral displays that promise to provide visitors a unique and enjoyable experience.

Tickets are available online at www.singaporegardenfestival.com and at the Singapore Botanic Gardens (Visitor Centre and Botany Centre from 8.00 am – 5.30 pm). A new eight-day pass will be available to visitors this year, for those who wish to make multiple visits to the Festival.

16 Jul 2010 Retail Seminar

The Retail Seminar aims to help HDB's retailers upgrade the shopping environment and their business operations, and also in terms of carrying out promotions. The seminar allows industry experts to share their best practices for Advertising & Promotions, Visual Merchandising, and e-ideas for retail businesses and customer services, with HDB retailers.

9-12 Sep 2010 BCA Green Building Exhibition 2010

The BCA Green Building Exhibition highlights key developments in Singapore's green building movement. The key focus is a mock up Green Home that showcases existing and future green technologies in a home environment. Visitors can look forward to learning more about BCA, meeting green building mascots "Greco" and "Beco", as well as finding delight in some fun games and prizes.

13-14 Sep 2010 WorldGBC International Congress

This year’s World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) International Congress will take place in Singapore on 13 and14 September 2010. The Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) will be hosting Green Building Councils from around the world and showcasing the advances in green building practices in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific Region. This Congress aims to bring the global GBC network together to share ideas, information, and strengthen their collective voice.

13 – 16 Sep 2010 Inaugural SGBC Green Building Conference

In line with its mission to propel Singapore’s building and construction industry towards environmental sustainability, SGBC is pleased to present the inaugural SGBC Green Building Conference 2010. SGBC is also honored to achieve the Established Member status with the WorldGBC and also winning the hosting rights to the WorldGBC International Congress 2010, which will be held from 13 to 14 Sep 2010 alongside the inaugural SGBC Green Building Conference.

SGBC, in strategic partnership with Reed Exhibitions, will also welcome Build Eco Xpo Asia (BEX Asia) 2010, which will be held in conjunction within the same week, from 13 to 15 Sep 2010. The exhibition provides a dedicated trade event that has a strategic focus on the Built Green environment, featuring eco-friendly, energy efficiency building materials, design and architecture, and reaching out to Green building suppliers, industry practitioners and professionals.

Reaching the Pinnacle, by HDB
