Ye Din Moe
BCA Academy
Department of Supervisory Training
Associate Lecturer
Years in service: 11.5 years

To students at the BCA Academy, Mr Ye Din Moe is a capable lecturer to learn from academically and also one to look up to for his patience and passion for the job. He was specially assigned to develop and teach a new mathematic subject (Mathematics 3), which is the bridging subject that could improve the student’s proficiency in mathematics from the diploma to university level. Under his charge, one of his ex-students, Ms Chaw Suu, a BCA gold medalist 2008 award winner, became a construction engineering student in Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

For the slower learners, Din Moe displays great patience and offers extra coaching to make sure that they overcome their learning barriers and understand the subject matter. Even for his ex-students who had graduated from BCA Academy, he would patiently explain concepts to them when they call him to seek advice about work. Being a very approachable lecturer, Din Moe also counsels his students and provides helpful advice when they are feeling down.

He continuously gives us valuable advice and guidance although we have graduated from BCA Academy…He can be our personal mentor throughout our lives because he is always there for us.
