Management Support Scheme of Service
The Management
Support Scheme will be the primary scheme for employing and
managing people for a broad range of Division II jobs.
Job Responsibilities
Management
Support Officers (MSOs) will play a supporting role to the
Senior Officers in the following Divisions/Departments:
Corporate Development Division
Housing Division
Infrastructure Division
Strategic Planning Division
Planning and Research Department
Eco-city Project Office
Corporate Communications Department
Computer Information Systems Department
Job Requirements
The right candidate
should possess a recognised polytechnic Diploma qualification.
We are looking
for individuals who are able to think clearly and possess
good communication and writing skills. We also value creative
and analytical persons and who adopt a positive attitude to
life and work. The person should also be able to work systematically
as well as under pressure.
Training
Candidates
appointed to the Management Support Scheme will be given on-the-job
training. They will be required to attend a minimum of 12.5
days of relevant training courses each year, which can be
job-related or on personal development. Comprehensive training
will ensure that officers can perform up to job expectations
and requirements.
