| 26 Oct 2009 | The trail-blazing Zero-Energy Building (ZEB) Singapore brings Sustainable Development to the next frontier with the new Zero-Energy Building (ZEB), which will be unveiled by Minister Mah Bow Tan on 26 October. Able to generate as much electricity as it consumes through renewable energy, the ZEB at the BCA Academy will house green classrooms and offices, and will also function as a test-bedding centre for Green Building Technologies. |
| 28 & 29 Oct 2009 | International Green Building Conference (IGBC) In line with the Singapore government’s recent announcement to create a better, greener living environment, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is organising the inaugural International Green Building Conference (IGBC) 2009 on 26 – 30 October at Suntec Singapore. Participants of IGBC will have the opportunity to visit outstanding green buildings including the Zero Energy Building, as part of the BCA Green Mark Tours. |
